Expensive Baseball Cards on Display By Rich Mueller Baseball card collectors will have the opportunity to get a photo taken with the most valuable cards in the hobby. Auctioneer Memory Lane Inc. is offering collectors a photo opportunity with a T-206 Honus Wagner or a 1951 Bowman Mickey Mantle Rookie Card graded PSA 10. Pictures are free, one per person while supplies last at the National Sports Collectors Convention in Cleveland. The cards are worth hundreds of thousands of dollars each; the Mantle could be worth $1 million if ever put on the market. Memory Lane will be set up at Booth #101. Also on display this year courtesy of Memory Lane is a collection of high grade baseball cards including near mint copies of T206 Christy Mathewson, Cy Young and Ty Cobb and a batch of super high grade Mickey Mantle and Willie Mays cards that belong to a private collector. The show runs July 29-August 2 at the I-X Center in Cleveland.
