Dates for the National Sports Collectors Convention

The National Sports Collectors Convention celebrates its 30th anniversary this year by returning to the site that held the annual show just two years ago. The I-X Center in Cleveland will house hundreds of sports card dealer booths and thousands of collectors from across North America July 29-August 2. The show rotates between several cities but it's considered the top gathering place for those interested in everything from vintage sports memorabilia and baseball cards to the latest product releases from card companies. A few dozen well-known autograph guests will appear, signing for a price. Friday night's autograph lineup is a 'turn back the clock' night with prices for signatures much lower than normal. Wednesday night is the 'sneak peek' with VIP members, who pay for the privilege, getting a chance to see what's available before everyone else. Admission is relatively reasonable and the show will keep sports fans and collectors busy for hours--if not days. If you want to see it all, and suspect you might have an interest, or are an avid collector attending for the first time, a two or three-day stay is recommended
