Carwin vs Lesnar: Biggest UFC Fight Ever? By Rich Mueller You probably won't find it among the headlines on most sports websites, but the heavyweight title fight that features Shane Carwin vs Brock Lesnar is perhaps the most anticipated event in UFC history. Lesnar, the former college wrestler and WWE personality, burst upon the mixed martial arts scene with much fanfare a few years ago. His seemingly unstoppable train was derailed for awhile by a serious stomach problem. Some said he would be lucky to fight again. Now, though, the brash behemoth from the Upper Midwest is back--and fighting Carwin for the championship. The sport has missed Lesnar. He speaks with a cocky confidence. His recent statements about "killing" Carwin in the ring may have gone a bit too far--even turning some fans against him. Carwin, too, fears nothing. The bout has fans beyond excited and the star power and curiosity over Lesnar's return should make it the most-watched UFC event we've ever seen.
